Description

Primitvo Negro Amaro  –  Armentino

A fascinating red wine from Schola Saramanti winery in Salento, an amazing combination of the tradition of growing in the Alberello Pugliese method

grapes of  this wine were carefully hand picked and only selected grapes were chosen

which consumes a lot of care and pruning, the base of the vine is cut at hip height and 3-4 arms come out of it, the roots grow very deep.

This system is effective in protecting the vine from stormy weather and produces excellent quality grapes.

The vineyards do not have access to tractors. The harvest is manual, in hard ventelated  crates. The grapes are placed in one layer so they will not be damaged.

This vineyard is over 55 years old and produces wonderful flavors.

Highly recommended for all red wine lovers

wonderful flavours from the south
